My telegram of 24th Deamber His Majesty the King has been pleased by Proclamation dated 11th March to declare following articles to be contraband of war in addition to those set out in Proclamation of December

23rd:-

(A). Absolute Contraband.

Raw wool, wool topa and noils, woollen and worsted yarns, tin, chloride of tin, tin ore, castor oil, paraffin, wax, copper, iodide lubricants, hides of cattle, buffaloes and horses, skins of oalves, pigs, sheep, goats and deer leather undressed or dressed suitable for saddlery harness military boots or military clothing, ammonia and its salts whether simple or compound, ammonia liquor

(B).

Conditional Contraband.

Tanning substances of all kinds including

extracts for use in tanning.

Proclamation further declares that the terms

foodstuffs and feeding stuffs for animals in the list of conditional contraband contained in Proclamation of Decem- ber 23rd shall be deemed to include oleaginous seeds nuts and kernels animal and vegetable oils and fats other than linseed oil suitable for use in the manufacture of margarin-

meats

and cakes and meaks made from oleaginous soeds nuts and

kernels.
